Welcome to North Queensferry Community Trust

North Queensferry Community Trust was set up to support the community of North Queensferry. New members are welcome. For more information and details of how to join please see the About page.

West Bay Harbour - The Trust holds the lease of the West Bay Harbour. We're working with NQ Boat Club, NQ Rowing Club, Lothian Sea Kayak Club, The Harbour Yard Project and Rosyth Men's Shed to improve it for the community. Pop along and say hello!

NQCT has appealed the Albert application refusal!

North Queensferry Community Trust has lodged an appeal at Dunfermline Sheriff Court against the Scottish ministers’ decision to refuse our application for a community buyout of the Albert Hotel on the basis that there are procedural and substantive errors both in the process and the decision itself. We are working closely with the Albert Community Group.

NQCT membership is open to anyone eligible to vote living in North Queensferry and also anyone aged 11-15.

Facilities and Boat Fees 2024-2025

Mudskipper and Seawych are now being treated as abandoned boats. All efforts to contact the owners over the last 6 months have failed and the boats will be dismantled in a fortnight's time if we do not hear anything from their owners. Part of the legal process of dealing with an abandoned boat is to post about it on local Facebook pages and on our website. If you know anyone who is in touch with either of the owners then please pass the word on.
